Sometime your X account get suspended. Gauge uses X login as a way to authenticate user, it is a well know and reliable way to assure identity in a social context.

However if you do have your X account suspended you will not have access you assets that is store in gauge. To avoid this we have set up a mechanic that allow you to migrate to another X account. There are 2 steps to this process. Register your wallet as a login backup (while you have access to your X account).
